Excellent, intriguing book which tells the true, tragic story of a couple on trial for the murder of the woman's husband. Mainly narrated via letters from Edie, to Fred, the reader very quickly realises that Edie isn't going to get the happy ending she foresees. This story is all the more powerful for the fact that it is based on a true case. The only reason it hasn't got 5 stars is that I read up about the real case afterwards, and realised that the truth was actual more heart-breaking than the fiction. Jill Dawson is a brilliant writer, this is highly recommended.

I'd been warned to steer clear of The Wasp Factory as an animal lover, but found this book deeply, darkly funny! It's completely over the top, crazy, weird but Frank, the mad teenager narrator is strangely endearing despite his dreadful way with animals and insects. I didn't find it nearly as disturbing as some of Ian McEwan's books (The Cement Garden for example). There's a sort of joie de vivre to the book even in its awfulness. Very different but recommended.

day of reckoning is a good wrestling game, but obviously now the roster is outdated, the controls all work well, but some of the things that happen on there are really stupid [like if a body part turns orange and then you hit them on that body part they instantly recover] but it's still good fun for wwe fans and it's the best wrestling game on the gamecube if you can forgive it being outdated.

I think that this book is just the original title for Thanks for the Memories. The description of the story is remarkably similar except that the doctor's name has changed from Jeremy to Justin. Thanks for the Memories is now available, so you might want to look at that instead.

Each experiment is gripping & thought-provoking. This will challenge your perceptions of reality, philosophy and morality.

Disappointing by the brilliant standards of the rest of the series.

I've read all the other CHERUB books and couldn't help being disappointed by this one. The front cover gave the impression that it was going to be a thriller of a mission, with James at the centre of it. However, it turned out to be just a mission for Lauren and there was no big action and excitement in the book. In the end, I just wanted the end of the book to come as soon as possible so the dreadful book could end. I hope the next book is much better and compensates for 'the sleepwalker's' lousy storyline.

This book stands out on the shelf, but in actual fact is very odd. It is all about Sally who was picked by the shadow council at her school. This almost portrays that teachers have no control over schools and it is very scary! All in all this book was terrible

I liked this book because it was an unusual story and was very visual. It did'nt read like a translation from Norwegian. But I didn't like the way it flipped from one time slot to another.

This book was even better than the others! this story in the saga of Harry Potter and his magical advntures, brings more excitement, upset and thrill to the story...not only was it written by the famous J.K. Rowling, but it also is one of the books which children all over read. Harry Potter was instantaneously famous as soon as book 1 - Harry Potter and the philosophers stone was published and sent to stores everywhere. Not only are the books a success, but when the films started to be made and Daniel Radcliff introduced as Harry Potter, every girl in the world wanted to be his Hermione, the rising stars of the film give a real insight into the characters in the books as they fitted the descriptions firmly... and so we wait for the final book, the end of the saga, th end of an era not wanting to be missed.
